this is not true at all. i have adhd and i can focus very well on things visually and aurally that i enjoy (most of the time). but when i’m in math class (something i do not find interesting) i stare into space and need reminders to stay on task. its not about visually paying attention or listening.

I watched a different video about how to recognize ADHD symptons in children, and i sounded exactly like that, but I didn’t believe it. Now I believe I am an ADHD kid, because I can only tune in one way; by seeing or hearing, but not at the same time.

I can relate everything that he said. It’s all true after I found out that I had Adult Attention Deficit Disorder I realized all the stupid things that I’ve done was due to my mental disorder. I’m taking medication for my ADD and it really helped a lot

what are the first steps to make an appointment for my two other children to get tested? where should I call or what should I do seems like there doctor won’t make any testing unless I push or if its nessasary I children have medical. I have seen other people have they’re childrens get testing done for ADHD but what do they do or say? to get into an appointment for testing.
thats very true I felt horreble when my son was doing this and I was grounding him for it he did’t know he had this and we are waiting for this test to happen his doctor wouldn’t do this test and his school would do the test. Until I pushed and pushed them to do the test for my child now I received a call from the doctor saying she will mail me forms for me and my husband to sing and for my son teacher…. is this really the proceses how can I know the doctor is not going to trick me?
