@DealExtremeRocks it did exist in the past. disorders of the frontal lobe dont appear in less than a century. clearly you know nothing about adhd if you think child abuse is an appropriate treament.

yeah kids should take these “harmless” drugs from an early age that… TOTALLY makes sense…and ADHD isn’t even curable… it isn’t even an illness to be allowed a cure
So a Child can develop a “Positive Self Image” by telling him/her that he/she is Mentally Ill (and needs to be seen by a Psychologist on a regular basis *which can last for years.)
Also it’s perfectly rational to tell a child that he/she needs to be on DRUGS at a relatively EARLY AGE in order to deal correctly with Dr’s, Parents, teacher, and others. Okay… whatever.
And the drugs that the Dr’s. prescribe, they’re perfectly Harmless right? (Sure they are!)

@DealExtremeRocks It exists. Either Ritalin was not the right treatment for you, or you never had it to begin with and your doctor gave you an incorrect diagnosis. Just because it wasn’t what was wrong with you doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist in other people.
@RoostyNY It’s not that it went away, it’s that you’ve learned how to deal with it. That’s why a lot of people think ADHD is bogus, because what looks like “growing out of it” is actually just learning to live with it and succeed despite it all. I’m so glad things have improved for you. It’s such a relief!
i have ADHD and it was really bad aback in elmentry school and now im in 7th grade and i dont have it as bad . 2 years ago every1 hated me and now im apopaulr student in school my grades where so low and now there really high. and i have gotten better in school with behvoir and im thankful that alot of it is gone

i have not much of a problem im 12 now i understand but when my little brother was 2 my friend had adhd and he kicked him in the face there is no reason for that behavour i understand but it isnt nice to do that

i would like to know how you feel in the inside, my son is 10 and has adhd, when he throws tantrums he always has suicidal thoughts which scare me to death, i ve been tryingn everything to help him but i belie ve he will start meds in a couple of weeks

Im 12 and i started to take meds since i was 3 or 4 and i still have ADHD. what ever you do dont take amy tripoline bc it will make you son gain weight. And he will be fat. Take the advice and dont give him that kind of meds bc i took those and i gained 30 pounds when i was 4 5 6 and 7 and right now i weigh 204 bc i took any tripoline..
